It represents a goal shared by Colin McRae and the Geneva-based company Cype SA, to raise the bar with innovative motorsport footwear, in much the same way that Colin revolutionised rally driving. The brand was officially launched in July 2006 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, after more than 3 years of research and detailed consultation.

colinmcraesport introduces the first footwear to be created under the scrutiny of a champion. Colin McRae's vast experience gave footwear designers unparalleled insight into the world of motorsport. His drive for perfection pushed footwear technology forward in order to satisfy his demand for racing boots that are fit for real racing conditions.
